History
In 2004, after a number of years working as an internal consultant for such businesses as MBNA America, Atlantic Assurance and TransUnion Settlement Solutions, Renee Peoples left to establish Peoples Consulting Services. Her vision was to provide quality services in process improvement, project management, and training development/facilitation.
In November 2005, she asked fellow consultant (and her husband), Steve Peoples, to join her business.
In early 2007, looking forward to other business opportunities, Peoples Management Corporation was formed and ownership of Peoples Consulting Services was transferred to the new management company.
In October 2008, Peoples Management Corporation received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Michigan's Women's Business Council (MWBC), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by MWBC is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
Today, Peoples Consulting Services continues to offer quality consulting services to our customers either directly or via partnership agreements with other companies. Peoples Management Corporation provides business management services to our consulting business as well as operates Renee Peoples Photography.
